The Midcentury hi-fi system Wega 3300 is a remarkable example of Minimalist Industrial and product design of 20th century by Space Age designer Verner Panton.

This soundsystem is a square box with rounded corners and consists of two sections. One level contains the radio and the other the record player. The record player is a Dual 1218.

The whole unit is on casters and can be easily moved. To complete the set and to secure the best possible sound the set includes two Braun L550 speakers designed by Dieter Rams. Both Panton and Rams are known for their uncompromised design and high quality and are icons. Combining the esthetic of both designers with the high sound quality makes this set a rare treasure for many years to come.

Designing often necessitates considering the aesthetic, functional, economic and sociopolitical dimensions of the design object & design process.
