Herbert Selldorf and Günther F. Ris collaborated to create the Sunball, which was produced and sold in an exclusive, very limited series: rare pieces are highly sought after today.
The rotating structure—many people are unaware that the Sunball can rotate—is made of lacquered fiberglass and can be opened to any angle. The base can be folded down so that the upper shells can be closed. Inside, the Sunball features two swiveling tables, a compartment for installing a radio, and a compartment for magazines or similar items.
