The BKF chair is a revival of the Paragon chair (more recently known as the Tripolina chair), which was designed by Joseph Beverley Fenby and has been used as campaign furniture and camping furniture since the 1880s. The chair gets the name of BKF chair from the initials of its creators Bonet-Kurchan-Ferrari. It is also known as the Hardoy chair because an official letter from the firm attributed primary authorship of the design to Ferrari-Hardoy. View article at Hardoy bkf chair jorge Ferrari-Hardoy

‧‧‧ One of 85The Hardoy Chair was developed in 1938 in an architectural office in Buenos Aires. Because of its shape, the chair is also known as the Butterfly Chair.
The term BKF Chair, which is also often encountered, is composed of the first letters of the names of the three architects involved in the design, Antonio Bonet (1913-1975), Juan Kurchan (1913-1975) and Jorge Ferrari-Hardoy (1914-1977). Bonet and Kurchan later acknowledged Ferrari-Hardoy as the actual author of the chair.
