The Godfather Part II is set in 1958 and 1959. The Corleone family has relocated to Nevada while Frank Pentangeli runs the family’s operations in New York, Clemenza having died a few years before.

Fredo, you’re my older brother, and I love you. But, don’t ever take sides with anyone against the family again. Ever.

Although Michael is the most powerful Mafia leader in the nation, he still actively works to remove the Corleone family from crime. The Godfather Part II is a 1974 epic crime film by Francis Ford Coppola starring Al Pacino as Michael Corleone, Robert Duvall as Tom Hagen, Robert De Niro as Vito Corleone, John Cazale as Fredo Corleone, Lee Strasberg as Hyman Roth & Danny Aiello as Tony Rosato.
