Ryuji Miyamoto 宮本隆司 born 1947 in Setagaya, Tokyo, Japan. After finishing his studies in graphic design at Tama Art University in Tokyo, he predominantly worked as a photographer and documentary film maker.

Subject of many of his photographs and motion pictures is the destruction of architecture. He took part in Documenta 11, 2002. His works can be viewed in many museums and collections.
