Respect
Respect is a way of treating or thinking about something or someone. If you respect your teacher, you admire her and treat her well.

People respect others who are impressive for any reason, such as being in authority — like a teacher or cop — or being older — like a grandparent. You show respect by being polite and kind. For a lot of people, taking your hat off is a show of respect. When people are insulted or treated badly, they feel they haven't been treated with respect. You can respect things as well as people. Saying the Pledge of Allegiance shows respect to your country.

Respect is all, what it's about. I've seen various sites using the free WordPress themes, and about 20% of the users are removing the credits.

Say, what is the problem?

Free themes with no ads, proper coding (well, the most), nice graphics, and all what the developers were asking for, is to leave the credit. I mean it's all about the respect for other people's work. If the credits are/were deleted, then no respect is shown for the hard (sometimes) work. Some of the site owners are even claiming it as their own work, and that is a big LIE, e.g. found today a socalled "artists" company site, using one of my images and another theme without any credits.

Again:
Say, what is the problem?

Artwork created with MY imagination, MY skills and Photoshop. (See how easy credits are?)
