The 1976 Italian Grand Prix was a Formula One motor race held at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza in Monza, Italy on 12 September 1976. The race saw the return of World Championship leader Niki Lauda to the sport after his serious crash at the German Grand Prix - he finished this race in fourth place.

Ferrari S.p.A. is a sports car manufacturer based in Maranello. Founded by Enzo Ferrari in 1939 as Auto Avio Costruzioni, the company built its first car in 1940, the company's inception as an auto manufacturer is recognized in 1947 when the first Ferrari-badged car was completed.
