The McLaren Solus GT V10 track car is focused on the technical details of a fully carbon-fibre chassis and body.

A specially-developed V10 petrol engine capable of spinning to more than 10,000rpm – the first McLaren with more than eight cylinders since the 1990s F1’s V12 – and a seven-speed sequential manual gearbox with rear-wheel drive.

Designing often necessitates considering the aesthetic, functional, economic and sociopolitical dimensions of the design object & design process.
