Among their most well-known designs is the Eames Lounge Chair. They also worked in the fields of industrial and graphic design, fine art and film.
Since Charles Eames was mostly in the foreground in official statements and appearances, Ray’s influence is underestimated accordingly. Ray Eames’ training as a visual artist, however, suggests that Charles took on the more technical and Ray the more artistic part of the working relationship.
