Updated to Work with WordPress 2.3
Slick plain white layout with custom js built in: another new layout for the frontpage of a WordPress powered site: Fleur de lys 3.17 with a fluid three column outfit: adjusts itself on browsersize = slick. Two sidebars with typical WP action like calendar, recent comments and a flickr support built in, the main column on frontpagge is showing the latest posts with the recent seven posts underneath. Additionally the header image rotator by automatic is built in too, prepared eight views of different flowers.
Implemented is also a del.icio.us script and support for your flickr API. Header psd is included, so you can easily customize the header title to your needs. At the moment the themeviewer is acting weird with timeouts and updates not working, so try it several times to access it.

Inspiration:
But the main inspiring came from the movie L.A. Confidental, where a club is named Fleur de lys (whose motto is “Anything you want”):
En adaptant le crépusculaire roman de James Ellroy au cinéma, Curtis Hanson a fait de L.A. Confidential un des meilleurs films noirs des années 1990. Situé dans les fifties, le film évoque un Los Angeles qui n’a rien à envier à celui de Chinatown de Polanski sur le plan de la corruption et du vice. Mais le trouble de L.A. Confidential provient essentiellement de la figure du masque omniprésente.
En effet, chaque personnage est moulé dans un comportement archétypal que l’enquête va pousser à briser (Bud la brute s’avère être un fin limier, Ed se révèle plus intègre qu’ambitieux, etc.) Le principe est poussé jusqu’à cette agence de call-girls Fleur-de-Lys qui fournit ses clients en filles relookées en stars. Cette réflexion sur les troubles de l’identité est ainsi couplée à un superbe polar sans concession façon whodunnit. Une réussite incontestable portée par un formidable casting.
