While surfing around the net for new inspiration on an exciting Showcase gallery I’ve stumbled upon this eye appealing french design blog: Art-zen with a good approach on design and art related posts.
What makes Art-zen interesting, is the linkbar: seventeen outstanding links to friends or related sites: almost all of the links guide to other cool websites.
All with individual styles, what makes me think:
Do the french have better taste in design?
Comparing to any other english site link category, the Art-zen links differs completely: each blog with its own individual approach on style and layout.
Take 18h34 for example: each post with lovely designed meta tags. Or tnggz with its clean branding/logo and own colourscheme in grey/pink.
My December wish:
all those (english?) media buzz about SEO and facebook would end and people start to think about their individuality with their own styles instead of following some obscure and overrated gurus.
