Update2: WON a german court last week

Update: on a german court now

Credit or not to?

Recently I’ve stumbled upon a corporate website using one of my free WordPress themes without credits. In particular it’s the corporate Kress site and their blog. Kress is a widly known german news aggregator for media and communication. They use my free WordPress theme Fractal without ANY credit, their impressum states that they are using parts of Fractal with a link to WORDPRESS?

Now, first of all, check the stylesheet, it’s the original CSS file, nothing was added except of an ad class for the header and some scripts for the server site ( blog page ).
As second, the width changed from an elastic to a fixed layout, colours and of course images.
Third: why they link to WordPress as a credit for the theme?

Now is it okay for a corporate site to use a free design without any credits?

This is stated in all of my themes:
Customize, edit, poke, prod, and adapt to your own style. Please leave credit where credit is due so that others may find the source for your site and adapt a suitable version for their own website.

So, kress darlings, please leave credit where credit is due to.
