Exactly, on their own website in an appropriate manor without bashing, although really big companies won't allow that either.

I agree to an extent. If the critique is balanced (though I don't know how that is possible when each ceo will obviously be biased towards her/his org/product) and non-inflammatory, I do not see too much of a problem in them publishing their views.

Well, if you're the head of any business company then it's NOT your business to attack, bloat or write nasty comments on any other site than yours.

And this is NOT meant for the above post only, but for all CEO related blurbs.

At least that are my 2 cents.

Can that not be said about Autocrattic and the WP supporters as well?

Ps. I use WP myself but do not like the way the community is getting screwed by Matt Co. et al

I think it's just funny how those useless bashing keeps on, as there is enough place for all CMS options, and each of the CMS systems has pros and cons.

I dunno, I'm just a blogger, and so I participate in conversations in the blogosphere where I can add info. I posted a comment on Michael's site listing about half a dozen inaccuracies in what he said, and if there is anything factually incorrect about what I stated, I'd love to hear it. ("Bogus" isn't that specific.) My goal isn't to get into debates with people, but to give them information about our work like TypePad and Movable Type if there are inaccuracies out there or if people are responding to inaccurate info.

I am very open to suggestions that I could take a different tone with the response that I left, and I apologize if I seemed rude. What I find hard to believe is that someone as familiar with these platforms as Michael claims to be would have so many serious errors of fact, especially since I corrected many of them in a comment on his second post days ago, but that comment hasn't surfaced yet.
