Druuna has been supervised by the cartoon series author, Paolo Eleuteri Serpieri. The 24 levels of graphics faithfully capture the artist’s creation with a real sense of detail. All animations have been made in “Motion Capture,” which involves an accurate modeling of all the characters. The game also offers over one hour of contextual cinematics that enrich the scenario and introduce further scenes.

The Artematica company that developed Druuna made a 3D Real-Time choice for the characters that move about in a pre-calculated universe. This technology provides the 30 different characters with a wide variety of movements and gestures. Thus, their moves are both remarkably smooth and realistic. The sound track further immerses the gamer into the bewitched environment, thanks to the THX technology. A “lip synch” interactive dialogue further enhances the realism of Druuna’s desperate quest.
