B rilliant car chase scene from the ‘68 cop film Bullitt by director Peter Yates mapped on original places in San Francisco. Two 1968 390 CID V8 Ford Mustangs (325 bhp) and two 1968 V8 Dodge Chargers (375 bhp) were used for the chase scene, where the Mustang is my favourite car.
Bullitt was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant”.
