A simple E-Mail inquiry concerning a Newsletters of the American Homeland Security department (DHS) led on the last wednesday to the process of a true Spam explosion in the USA. A businessman from North Carolina wanted a E-Mail change of his address , in order to keep the daily sent anti-terror bulletin of the DHS.
By using the reply function the inquiry arranged functioning E-Mail address of the Newsletters to those usually only as a sender. A programming error on the part of the news type character programmers ensured the fact that the message was passed on unintentionally to all list receivers. Within shortest time the Spam wave took then its run.Further info
